Every sign of ours starts as a hand-drawn digital design. We print them on light weight masonite, cut them out one at a time by hand using everyday household power tools, then stain, weather, and seal with a glossy protective finish.
Because the finishing is done by hand, no two signs are exactly alike. Chips, scratches, stains, gouges, and a little roughness on the edges are done and left on purpose. Same with roller marks, brush strokes, and small variations. That is the look we are after: something that looks like it could have been pulled out of an old attic or basement. And something that isn't mass produced.
Our signs are intended for indoor use only. You have to keep them out of the weather.
They do not come with hanging hardware. Command strips work well, or just lean one on a shelf, mantel, or against the wall.
If you like pieces that feel like heirlooms in the making, our signs tend to become favorites. Just sayin.
